Sales programme of PE Components and tools

Department of sales in  PE  Components and tools has a task of marketing two programmes. As it is visible from the title of this article these two programmes are tools and components. Programme of tools has been marketed for a longer period of time and I will not describe it in details in this article, while the programme of components has been ran actively for three years. The programme has a good potential for further growth. Components are products, which are incorporated in electrical motors, assemblies, devices ... Some of the products from our production: rotor and stator laminations, pump housings, brushes, bearing brackets ...

In the beginning we started marketing five groups of components: shafts, laminations, lamination stacks, duroplastic products (BMC), thermoplastic products and aluminum and zinc castings. With time it was proved that our biggest potential is in lamination and lamination stacks programme as well as duroplastic programme (BMC). We have our own production and a lot of experience with both groups, which may be well used while searching for new customers. With the application of our own experience and knowledge as well as production we also offer help in the development phase of the products.
 
Nowadays all the companies strive for cheaper products. Because of that reason some of them move their production to the countries with cheaper labour force, the others try to invest in the development and acquire precedence over the competition. In the latter we see a big chance for marketing our BMC-programme. The main characteristics of BMC material are high temperature resistance, sharp tolerances, incombustibility and auto-extinction ... This material is more and more used as a substitute for expensive thermoplasts and aluminium. Example of this kind material change is our new customer BSH. We cooperate with them for two years. They run four projects connected to material change from aluminium to BMC. We cooperate with them in the development phase of three projects. We have also been chosen as a supplier of the fourth project. Beside BSH, we cooperate in the development phase with the producers of brushes, ventilators, brush holder etc.

With the possibility of BMC-recycling, this material is more and more present in the automotive industry. More and more car parts are made of  SMC, CMC and BMC materials, which all belong to the group of unsaturated polymers. Currently we are producing the tools for housings  for the automotive industry. In the end of January we will have the initiation series and we will also send the products to the customer.

The situation in marketing laminations and lamination stacks is a little different. With the current equipment of the production hall (old equipment) it is difficult to find a suitable customer. Nevertheless, we managed to find a few customers in these three years. In future our main target in the programme of laminations and lamination stacks is fulfilling free capacities of this plant. But if we want to meet the requirements of more demanding customers, we shall invest in the equipment of the plant.

Higher turnover, which has currently been noticed in the programme of components gives us hope for successful achieving of targets written in the vision of the company.
