Privacy
One of the most important human rights in the modern socirty is the right to privacy. The Domel group recognises this and respect it, therefore working with personal data responsibly, carefully and in accordance to the regulations of the Republic of Sloveni and the internal files and organizational guidelines of Domel d.o.o. Access to personal data is limited only to authorized personnel and contract workers within the scale and purpose that is absolutely necessary for uninterrupted work flow, providing the firm's services and fulfilling the rights and obligations stated in the customer contracts.
The Domel group is aware of the importance of personal data security. We fully respect your privacy and our vows regarding a legal, fair and transparent use of personal data. We also keep security measures in place to prever unauthorized access to said data, we keep the data confidental and whole and prever the loss or accidental destruction of the data in the timeframe of it's use.
This policy handles gathering, storage and use of personal data that are received by Domel from you when you subsribe to our e-news, event invitations, publications and other Domel products.
The contact data you supply to us when you fill out the form/order form/application/registration is used to process your order and to communicate with you regarding e-news, events, publications and other Domel group products, to which you have subscribed. If you do not decide to share said contact data, we will not be able to process your order and/or you will not be able to use the services you want.
We use technical and organizational procedures to prevent unatuhorized access or the discloure of received data, to keep the data accurate and to assure it's correct usage. The Domel group can not rule out the possibility of data abuse, because regardless of security measures and a secure communications protocol, the internet is an unpredictable media.
Personal data usage purpose and legal grounds
The Domel group uses their customer's personal data in in the scale and purpose or fulfulling contracts on the basis of lawful legal foundations. On the basis of lawful interest the data is used to reduce website break-ins (ensuring informational security, reducing the risk of unauthorized access to important business information, personal data and the Domel IT system). From time to time the data can also be used for analyses to balance business and credit risk and optimising business decisions (protection of the Domel group economic interests) and statistical analyes used to prepare reports to the management – only anonymous data is used in these reports.
In certain cases, the Domel group will ask individuals for their consent to use their personal data to assess certain personal aspect of the individual. In such cases the personal data is used in regards to the individual's statement on the range, purpose and agreed-upon communication channels, untill cancelled.
The Domel group also gathers personal data upon visiting the Domel website, using cookies to ensure better functionality and user experience, security, uninterrupted activity of the website and web portals and counting the website visits.

Personal data handlers and possible transfer of personal data to other countries
Apart from the Domel group (it's employees), the personal data is also used in their name and account by other handlers. These are companies, that offer technical support to the Domel group, such as applications development, implementation and maintenance, web and informational services, and handlers that Domel engages to provide services needed to fulfill contracts.
There is no transfer of personal data to other countries.
Individual rights
Any individual can entiery or partially cancel their personal data usage agreements and consent by sending a writen request to DOMEL d.o.o., Otoki 21, 4228 Železniki, with the subject »Peronsal data protection«. The cancellation of consent does not influence the lawfulness of usage that happened on the grounds of the consent before the cancellation.
The individual has a right to file a complaint to the Informational representative RS if they believe that their data is being kept or in any way used contrary to the valid regulations that handle the protection of personal data.
In accordance to the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) you have the right to access your personal data, the right to correction, the right to delete (»forget«), the right to transfer, the right to demant restrictions on personal data usage and the right to appeal.
If you decide to use any of these rights or to acquire additional information, refer to our data protection representative using the info@domel.com email. Your application will be examined and replied to in accordance to the GDPR.
Personal data storage time
The Domel group will use the personal data to the extend, needed to fulfill the purpose of the usafe and as long as is needed to reach the intended goals. If the data was acquired based on consent, it will be used untill cancellation.
Personal data will be used untill fulfillment of purpose or in the limitation periods that could be based on the usage of the personal data. Especially when the data used to make or fulfill a contract, except when the storage period is defined by the law. In these cases, the Domel group will store the data in accordance to the law.
