During the product development process, there is always a tendency to reduce the noise and vibration levels. From this point of view, it is crucial to have good control of the structural dynamics of individual components and the entire product when designing it, since this has a significant impact on the final noise levels. Therefore, we systematically develop competences in the area of structural dynamics and acoustics. We use the Ansys numerical software for numerical dynamic analyses and our own software for acoustic noise evaluation of motors. The latter constitutes the highest level of competence with respect to the numerical vibro-acoustic evaluation of electric motors. These analyses allow us to combine numerical simulations of magnetic excitation forces with structural dynamics and then perform the final evaluation of electric motor noise.
