Aerodynamics
At Domel we have a wealth of knowledge in aerodynamics, which is enhanced through constant development and experimental verification of aerodynamic components. We optimise air flows through fans, blowers, compressors and diffusers, and through the electric motor and entire systems with dedicated tools for numerical simulations that allow analyses of key aerodynamic components at an early stage of development and in virtual environments.
By introducing parametric models, we can perform numerical evaluation for even a few 100 versions a day, which allows us to also use advanced optimisation algorithms. In this way, we can provide optimal solutions.
The CFD* tools also help us with thermal analyses when constructing cooling elements for motors or monitoring the temperature response of electric motors at a given load.
