Prototyping

Rapid prototyping is crucial for experimental testing and verification of newly developed products, thus ensuring the quality of final products. 

Domel’s prototype workshop produces thousands of samples annually. These can be individual conceptual prototypes, or smaller batches of final prototypes.  Individual components are manufactured using the CNC cutting technologies and 3D printing of plastic and metal materials. Windings are manufactured manually or mechanically, and the rotating components and assemblies are balanced. In cooperation with other departments at Domel, we also carry out precision cylindrical grinding, production of prototype tools and 3D scanning as well as other electro-mechanical analyses of individual components or assemblies.
