EC/BLDC low voltage motors

A brushless DC motor (BLDC) is also referred to as an electronically commutated motor. The rotor is brushless and commutation is performed electronically in certain rotor positions. A brushless DC motor is ideal for applications which require high reliability, efficiency and power to capacity ratio. As a general rule, a BLDC motor is characterised by high performance which can provide high torque in a wide speed range. 

Domel develops and produces BLDC motors for battery-powered applications. The advantages of these motors are high power to capacity ratio and high efficiency needed for battery-powered applications. BLDC motors are brushless, and commutation is performed electronically, which provides significantly longer lifetime and better efficiency compared to brushed motors.
