They consist of a universal commutator motor and one or several fan stages. The motors are fitted with basic insulation with grounding provision or double insulation. They are designed with radial or tangential discharge. The rotor is supported by two ball bearings, enabling vertical or horizontal mounting of the motor. Different motors are designed for different insulation classes and are constructed according to EN 60335-1.
