Domel at China-CEEC Expo 2025: Building connections, sharing knowledge, and unlocking new opportunities in the Chinese market
We are proud to have participated in the China–CEEC Expo 2025 in Ningbo, where Slovenia was featured as the guest of honor.
The event was exceptionally well-organized, both in terms of media coverage and the structure of the economic delegation. It provided an excellent platform for promoting Slovenian innovation, culture, and business excellence - and for us at Domel, it opened new opportunities for meaningful connections.
Our colleagues from Domel China represented us at the expo, where we presented two of our advanced laboratory devices - an incubator and an MPN analyzer. These solutions sparked interest among visitors and clearly showcased the quality and innovation we bring to the medical and laboratory segment.
As part of the official economic roundtable, we had the opportunity to present Domel’s vision and experience on the Chinese market. We contributed our insights on future collaboration and shared best practices, especially with Slovenian companies that are just entering this market.
The event was more than just an exhibition - it was a place of exchange, where partnerships were formed and relationships strengthened. We provided media statements to outlets like STA and China Daily, and even joined a live interview on CGTN's "Dialogue" program via Zoom.
The delegation led by State Secretary Matevž Frangež (Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport) was a strong support to the participating businesses, creating bridges with key Chinese decision-makers. The entire presence was carefully curated by SPIRIT Slovenia, whose promotional video and overall concept impressed both the audience and the organizers.
Slovenia’s national and commercial pavilions ranked among the most visited at the expo and even received a special recognition award from the event organizers for outstanding presentation. The commercial pavilion featured 15 Slovenian companies from various sectors, highlighting everything from advanced electronics to sports and food products.
The China–CEEC Expo once again proved to be a powerful platform for economic exchange between China and Central and Eastern Europe — and for Domel, it was a valuable opportunity to deepen our presence in a market where we already have strong foundations.
We look forward to continuing the conversations started in Ningbo and strengthening our partnerships in this dynamic and fast-evolving region.
