Domel's new IP55 blower series is designed for applications where electrical and mechanical components must operate reliably despite exposure to moisture, dust, temperature changes, and other environmental influences.
IP55 protection is available across Domel's complete portfolio of EC blowers and pumps allowing OEMs to select the most suitable solution for a wide range of industrial applications. These blowers are ideal for manufacturing facilities, outdoor installations, transportation infrastructure, and other systems where long-term reliability is essential.

The modular design allows the turbine assembly to be replaced independently, simplifying maintenance, reducing service costs, and extending product lifetime.

Depending on customer requirements, the blowers can be designed to comply with various international standards, including:
- Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC)
- Harmonic current limits
- Railway application requirements
- Other industry-specific standards
For applications requiring operation in potentially explosive atmospheres, the blower design can support the customer's ATEX certification process. The blowers themselves are not ATEX certified.
Developed and manufactured in Europe
Domel blowers are designed for an expected service life of more than 12,000 operating hours.
Development, testing, and manufacturing are carried out in Slovenia, ensuring consistent product quality, complete component traceability, and a stable European supply chain.
