Two Gold Awards for Domel innovations, one advancing to the national level

Innovation has been one of the key drivers of Domel’s development for decades. This year's awards presented by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia – Regional Chamber of Gorenjska once again confirm the strength of our innovation culture. Two Domel innovations received Gold Awards, while one of them was selected among the four highest-rated innovations in the region and will compete for national recognition later this year.

A total of 18 innovation projects from companies, organizations, and development teams across the Gorenjska region were submitted to this year's competition. The expert committee awarded eight Gold, three Silver, and five Bronze Awards.

Among the Region’s top innovations

Special recognition was awarded to the innovation High-Performance Electric Motor for Dynamic Torque Vectoring in Sports Vehicles, which ranked among the four best-rated innovations in the region and qualified for the national selection of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Slovenia's Innovation Awards.

The innovation represents the development of an electric motor for premium electric and plug-in hybrid vehicles, enabling exceptionally fast and precise torque control. Combining advanced design solutions, innovative manufacturing processes, and extensive engineering expertise, the project marks an important step forward in the field of advanced e-mobility.

Gold Award for more energy-efficient industrial blowers

A second Gold Award was presented to the innovation Electronically Controlled Blowers for the Global Industrial Applications Market with Intelligent Grid Relief.

The solution improves energy efficiency, reduces the load on electrical grids, and ensures reliable operation across a wide voltage range worldwide. Its key advantage is the integration of active Power Factor Correction (PFC) directly into the blower, eliminating the need for additional external components while increasing efficiency and reducing energy losses.
