CIIE Shanghai 2026

At one of the world’s largest international import and export trade exhibitions, CIIE Shanghai 2026, Slovenia will participate for the fifth time this year, and for the first time with its own National Pavilion.

The SPIRIT Slovenia Public Agency, with the support of the Ministry of the Economy, Tourism and Sport (METS) and in cooperation with the Embassy of the Republic of Slovenia in Beijing, the Consular Office in Shanghai, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia, the Ministry of Commerce of the People’s Republic of China (MOFCOM), and the Shanghai Municipal Government, will organise a joint presentation of Slovenian companies at the China International Import Expo 2026 (hereinafter: CIIE Expo Shanghai 2026).

The event will take place from 5 to 10 November 2026 at the National Exhibition and Convention Center (NECC) in Shanghai (venue address: 333 Songze Avenue, Qingpu District, Shanghai 201106, China / 中国上海市青浦区崧泽大道333号, 邮政编码: 201106).

This will be Slovenia’s fifth consecutive joint participation at the event, which itself will be held for the ninth time. This year, for the first time, Slovenia will be represented at two exhibition locations, covering a total area of 264 m².

Last year’s Guest Countries of Honor at CIIE Shanghai were Sweden, the United Arab Emirates, Georgia, Colombia, Nigeria, and Thailand. This year’s Guest Country of Honor will be Canada.
