Domel’s guiding principle, which we have pursued since our beginnings, is to develop and produce environmentally friendly products. One of our company’s market segments is electronically commutated (EC) motors. Due to their savings in electric power consumption, their efficiencies are proportionally reflected in reduced greenhouse gas emissions and a lower environmental impact. In particular EC drive systems intended for use in heating, ventilation and air conditioning (HVAC) rank among the top five consumers of electricity. Due to their continuous (24/7) operation, energy consumption is even more important in the applications in which such motors are used.
The HVAC motors NZ270 with a power range from 5 to 50 kW, developed and produced by Domel, in combination with its electronics achieve the highest efficiency in the segment. They meet the highest energy efficiency class IE5, and contribute to significantly lower electricity consumption during operation. They are characterised by a high level of material efficiency and long lifetime. The motors provide high material efficiency since their weight is as little as 1/3 that of the traditionally most commonly used asynchronous drive systems.
Our mission is based on social responsibility and sustainable development. We are aware that living in a healthy natural environment is our wealth, which we want to preserve through sustainable operations for our employees, who return to the company's location every day, as well as for the wider local environment. A clean and healthy environment is a real treasure, but it is also becoming increasingly rare.
